Yes. In Ontario, repair shops must give you a written estimate before work begins, unless you agree to a maximum amount instead.

Under Ontario law, the final cost cannot be more than 10% above your written estimate. If hidden damage is found, we contact you or your insurer before doing extra work.

No. It is your choice. For smaller repairs some drivers pay privately. We can give you a written estimate to help you decide.

Yes. In Ontario, repairs come with a warranty of at least 90 days or 5,000 km on parts and labour, whichever comes first.
